Caroline has extensive financial markets Trading, Structuring & Risk management expertise across all major asset classes. Caroline was the Barclays Group CRO for Capital, Liquidity, IRRBB, Pension funds and Strategic investments 2016-2019. In this role, Caroline was Chair of Group Treasury Risk committee, Member of the Barclays Pension Executive board and provided governance to the Boards of Barclays Group & its significant entities.
Prior to her CRO role, Caroline was Global Head of Barclays Client Solutions & Securitisation Derivatives Trading desks 2010-2016 , winning two industry awards for innovative transactions
Caroline has delivered multiple “Mission Critical” projects requiring global co-ordination and Board level governance across a wide range of problems from Investment strategy, Infrastructure & Model delivery and Business performance. She was in her previous role registered by the FCA as an approved person (no longer applicable as BLCP is not an FCA-registered business).
Caroline holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Liverpool university and began her career as a Structural Engineer designing petrochemical plants.
