DILIGENCE
We take a forensic approach to due diligence and apply stringent risk analysis procedures ahead of making investments. The name ‘Blacklight’ is borne out of this approach, and we treat every asset in which we are involved as if it were our own, which in the majority of cases, it is of course, via the Senior Team’s personal equity co-investment.
INTEGRITY
Senior team members come from long careers in FCA-regulated businesses, and indeed retain their ‘FCA-approved Person’ status*. The discipline instilled by this regulated background is in our DNA, and we treat our investors and indeed all stakeholders in our projects with openness and honesty.
* Blacklight is not FCA-regulated on the basis that our investment activity does not require it.
CREATIVITY
We are not bound by traditional investment structures, but apply ‘out of the box’ thinking to each investment and our stakeholders particular circumstances. This has enabled us to work with investor-partners in unique ways to create a successful outcome for them, no matter how bleak their situation might have seemed prior to our involvement.
